Beer helps! the mk2 is doing my head in a bit! The pinto is knackered and smokey and had started to do a head gasket, but being a pinto it's keeping going! I've got a good spare to go in but it's in Derbyshire...I'm trying to get hold of an overdrive box and the bits to make it fit to swap in at the same time, problem being I don't think the 200 mile trip up will end well - luckily I've got recovery.
The body is starting to go a bit as well and I've got nowhere to work down here, to be right it needs a pair of lower rear quarters (which I have) and inner and outer rear valances (which I need to find) along with a front wing (got that too). Just looks really run down which isn't how I like stuff appearing.
I'm actually looking for a good mot'd Lwb mk3 so I can run that for work while I take the mk2 upto Derbyshire for a while to spend sometime working on it.
How's yours coming on?
