How is the Wings fastned on a MK 1 ?
Any body got pics that show the points ?

if removing will take time to find and drill the spot welds :(

On the Mk1 there are bolts on the inside of the wing on the body of the van, they are 10mm headed and go up from underneath. Then you have a strip of spot welds along the back edge of the wing by the door followed by a strip of welds inside the bonnet and at the back edge by the windscreen. If you wipe the surface where the welds are you can see small dimples about 3mm across, these are the welds. Buy a good quality spot weld drill bit and drill through the wing only and you should have the wing off in no time :)
