mk2 rubber front spoiler on mk1

Has anyone ever tried fitting the rubber mk2 front spoiler onto a mk1, the petrol front is a similar shape, just wondered what it would look like.

not sure about the rubber ones but the fibreglass spoiler i have on my mk2 was bought for a mk1 and it wouldn't fit, it was miles out but luckily i had a mk2 for it

is that the fiberglass copy of the mk2 rubber spoiler that u got

its fibreglass but not a direct copy of the rubber one its a different profile
there was also the german one fitted to the clubmobile vans - thats different again
