Mark 1 Transit needed for BBC TV

Postby Fran_voltage » Mon Feb 04, 2019 12:17 pm

Hi guys,

Apologies for spamming your forum...

I am helping to produce the latest series of Inside The Factory which is broadcast on BBC Two. The series explores some of the largest factories in the UK who produce some of Britain’s favourite foods and products. As we explore the factories we cut to around 5 smaller films around 5 minutes in length which go in to the history and science behind a product we are following the process of.

The episode we working on at the moment we are following the production of cereal bars – one particular story I am hoping you may be able to help with is a history story which features a classic mark 1 transit van (preferably a camper). I wondered if any of you are within a couple of hours to Bedfordshire and have a mark 1 transit we could use in the series? The story is about a famous granola brand in the UK and it began with the former owners touring the UK in their transit van during the early 1970’s.

We would love to feature your pride and joy featured on the BBC Two series. We would be looking to film this on 7th March and we would need the van for half a day.

Please reply here or email me at fran.jarvis@voltage.tv

Thanks very much
Fran

What type of camper are you looking for? Coachbuilt or van conversion?
