After a long run in my V4 although it doesnt boil or seem to overheat the starter is hot enough to turn a lot slower when trying to restart.
The body of the starter is very hot. (It is disengaging properly)
Im assuming this is heat soak from the engine, odd that Ive not noticed it before.
I was thinking of making a heat shield as I assume the heat from the exhaust is responsible for some of it.
I cant think of anything Ive done that should make any difference, any ideas?
