Found a mk2 Dualy Crew Bus - Need some help!

Hi All,

Not been too active on here since I passed my company Custom DCIV to a colleague.

I have, however, found a mk2 Dual wheel crew bus for sale that I'd love to get roadworthy again to make into a promotional vehicle.

It needs the following and, aside from my queries, is there anything on the list that I should be worried about being made of unobtanium?

Engine (originally a Pinto) - fairly common but I've heard the Transit blocks were popular as they were "stronger" and got pinched for rally cars?)
4 speed 'box is present, I assume going type 9 5-speed is straightforward?
Engine ancillaries (alternator, starter, clutch)
Radiator & pipework
Front bumper end caps
Driver's seat (this isn't such an issue but it doesn't match the twin seat, so it's a cosmetic thing)
Ideally I'd like to retrofit a side-door (just for access as the rear doors will open to a sealed-off section) - I'll guess these are impossible to get?

I'll never end up with a show queen but I'd like a decent, useable van that stands half a chance of keeping pace with modern traffic!

All pretty easily sorted except the side door.
I would go MT75 or overdrive box rather than type 9 as they are stronger, you will need a different cross member and prop. Running pintos can be picked up in the £200-£300 range, a Zetec is cheaper....

Radiators aren't easily available new but it's simple to adapt something modern to fit.
