I've always preferred the MK2 mainly due to owning one when I was younger but I have to say that van looks amazing.......

Cracking work sir! Love the Mk2 rally clone you used to have in your Avatar too!
2009 Renault Trafic Sport Crew Cab

Vans I have also owned:
1982 MK 2 SWB Transit
1992 Fiat Ducato
1993 MK 4 SWB Transit
2005 MK 6 SWB T280 Transit

thanks! The Mk1 is my favourite, although I have 4x Mk2's as well :) I think that was "Supervan 2" in my avatar, which I still have (not the real one of course!)

Nice update on the van.

Interesting to see a sway bar on an old transit I’m surprised more people haven’t done it. Did you have a custom bar made or were you able to adapt something from the pick a part goldmine?

As always lovely work.

thank you! The rear bar was already fitted to the Ford 9" axle. It probably originated from the same car the rear axle came from. The front bar was from K-Mac in Australia, and was made for the Transit. I have fitted K-Mac bars to my LWB Mk2, and they made a big improvement.
