Mk1 change from twist switches to rocker switches

My vans 3rd month 68 has twist switches but ive seen an August 67 truck on ebay (so its older) with oblong switches, i thought these changes came about late 68 also has later heater controls, has upside-down pedals though as you would expect.

My Sept '68 van has twist switches & has the heater controls on the side. My '69 van that I have now sold had the large rocker switches that were vertical on the right of the steering wheel. A lot of early vans were modernised in the 1970's with later switches.
