Hi all, I found this chassis plate on the bulk head of my late MK1,
I have tried to research it but had no luck, can anyone decode it for me?

There are different formats of chassis plate which put the codes in slightly differing places.

So it would be helpful if you could post a photo. If the asterisks are to hide the actual chassis number, then stick a bit of tape over that bit to hide it before taking the photo.

Thanks for the photo. Not sure it helps us much as it is a "Local Assembly" plate rather than one used in the Ford plant.

By the looks of it but it could be wrong ! :

F - means manufactured in Germany - Local Dealer Assembly (as Neil said)
B - in this case would mean either Alexandria or Casablanca

84 is the German code for 130, 150 or 175 Chassis Cab (so twin wheel axle - 6 stud ??)

TG is Manufacturing date of August 1977

107** is the sequence number

So the whole group of the above would be the chassis number.

After that nothing seems to match up. I think I remember a similar thing with a Spanish built vehicle some time ago. Possibly they had their own codes for colour & trim.
