Postby NogE » Mon Sep 27, 2021 6:45 pm

Hi all,
I do hv pics of stripping the doors down but I got to thinking about putting em back together. It's the glass fitting..is there an easy way..? Do i slide glass into door before fitting quarter opening frame etc ?..
Just looking for some key steps..I'd work it out im sure..but ,it's good to talk..cheers all

Yes when we fitted new doors back then we put the quarter light and frame back in the door and put in the sliding window in the runners put the screws in and then fit the winder gear but you can put the sliding window in by just removing the other side short runner on the handle Side of the door they had a habit of the spot welds snapping off letting the runner fall into the bottom of the door and the window doing the same or just jamming up.
