Thanks dumper, I guess I wish I had more power, but after all the responses I can see that it might really be best to rebuild the existing engine....

Your right Nordic blue the V4 was a mk 1 transit the only V engine in a mk2 would be a V6 .At work we had the V4 engine mk 1 s they were replaced with Perkins 4108s then the York we never had any on the fleet but we had a demo van from Ford that had a 1.6 Kent pushrod engine in it and it was a flat front end not a bullnose one.

Hello, again, first, thanks for all your help. Finally I decided to renew my 2.0 pinto engine. And we found this. Look at the pictures below.
Has anyone any idea where on earth I can find a new or good used engine piston(s) for my 1983 mk2 pinto 2.0 engine, diameter 90,80 mm?
All sites I can find show out of stock status of piston for this model.
Thanks for any advice!!

If that is a oversized piston and the block has been rebored you can have block bored and selived back to standard or rebored to a size you can get a piston
