MkII rear hatch lock mechanism for a friend in Malta

Hi - I have just returned from Malta where the MkII transit is still in regular use. However, people are finding some parts hard to come by. A friend of mine asked me to see if anyone has a spare rear lock/catch mechanism for the rear door of his MkII transit. I think it's a 1984 and the rear door is hinged at the top. Can anyone help my Maltese friend who needs this lock to keep his wine safe!!

Hi Kieron have you tried Karmnu's yard in Malta, he breaks up only Mk1s and Mk2s. You can see his tread on Karmnu's yard on the Non Members tread or tell him to phone him up on 21650045. Gerald.
