mk2 transit panel van

Postby djscrap » Sat Dec 22, 2007 11:02 am

i am collecting a mk2 transit panel van today had a result coz knocked for it about 4 months ago and the bloke rang me yesterday and said it was for sale
so i agreed a price over the phone for it.
the vans been off the road for approx 11 years but seemed to be in good condition when i last see it!!
the only problem is the owner has lost the keys to it!!but that shouldnt stop me getting into it!!
i will post some pics later when i collect it
so keep an eye out on here!!!

it would proberbly be an easier resto than it looks - at least it should be untouched - what you see is what you get :D

sometimes vans stuffed full of filler are harder to work with - you just keep uncovering more as you go :x

certainly worth spending an hour with a bucket and sponge

from what i can gather from the owner he bought it new and used for everyday work and the for some reason he parked it up but cant remner why???
all the tyres are in good condition even thogh its been standing so long,
the worse part is the dash is wrotten around the air vent holes on both sides this is probably due to dampness in the van??
