Has anyone any news on proposed legislation with regard to needing rear seatbelts in campers. How do we fair with our old beasts?

I have not heard of anything concrete as far as the rear seat belts in campers go, only rumours that they will need them, but usually this has a cut off date, ie vans registered after a certain date.
