Mark 1 Transit Drivers Window No Wind

Hi Everyone,
Hope you all are well. My beloved Mark 1 Jennings Camper Window wont wind down any more. Its been a bit intense on these hot day without a cooling draft. After inspection it looks like that it is the little gears that the winder is attached to have been stripped. I have been told by a top bloke near my work that I will need a new window winding mechanism (the whole kit apparently). Does any one know were there best place to look for one of these is. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

You and me both mate! The Mk1 mechanism will fit your door too, but you will need a new track at the bottom of the window glass if you you that route. All mechanisms are second hand only now, unless you can find one NOS off ebay.

remove the door panel and have alook at what is going on in there!
