Hi all
To day I removed a V4 2L eng, fitted to a auto gearbox from Mk1 75 transit has it is a scraper, I decided to cut out the front cross member just to make it a lot better to do the job. Having got the lump out I have got to thinking that it looks easy to make a cross member that you can remove and refit to the front. Has any one done this? I am going to fit the lump into a 69 body that had a diesel fitted I have to make new engine mountings so it can be done at the same time.

not sure if you would have problems with the MOT as its a vital part! but you will find if its going in a diesel front they have loads more room you shouldnt need to! :D
