mk2 clocks,,,,can i change with any other ford

hi the speedo on my camper is impossible to read in the dark(really dim)..i dont know if its original but doesn't look right. the fuel /temp guage backlight is clear /white but the clock and speedo are both tinted blue......i opened the clocks up and found blue surrounds round the speedo bulbs.so i binned them ..but also noticed the clear perspex you look through to see the clocks is badly stained/scratched ...so is this glass/perspex easily obtainable ...or does a cortina one fit ..i looked on ebay for transit mk2 speedo but got no finds....can youse guys help..

There is a post somewhere about cleaning the perspex and upgrading the bulbs.

I've put some e-bay led bulbs in mine and binned the plastic covers from the bulbs not as good as new cars but 100% better than it was

doh! yeah I just read my reply back and meant cortina. If you are feeling lucky the crusader speedo goes up to 140mph!

Would doing the dials in white with black lettering improve things?
A bit boyracerish perhaps, but I've got a friend who knocked up templates for my Mini before, just had to print them off on matt photo paper - worked a treat.
I've got a spare set of clocks and was thinking about it myself...
