what colours in white did ford use on the mk 1 and 2 ?
think they are maybe too early for diamond so guessing polar or glacier white
dont have the code yet but want to find out tomorrow if they are available ready mixed or not

they were around longer in the 70s. 65-70 = 5 years, 70-78 = 8 years

Ermine white was used on Mk2 Cortina's,Mk3 Cortina's and Mk1 Escort's so it's reasonable to assume the colour carried on with Mk1 Transit's into the 1970's.I think Diamond White came into in 1977 with the Mk1 Fiesta's and across the whole Ford range?

you may guess which member this is for so i may get to do it in a pre mix diamond if its much cheaper , just have to wait and see

If it's for a full re spray, I would say go diamond white, that way any touch ups will be easy. It all depends how close you want to be to original.

There are many shades of diamond white, any colour is easy if you just go get a proper colour match.

bout 15 if i remember right but its easy to match , more so than the older ones with more tints in

The trick is to save a jar of paint from the respray, that way (even if the paint is affected by UV) you are 99% guaranteed to get a match if you have to do touch ups.
