australian compliance plate

I have an australian mk1 pick up it is painted in primer and was last registered on the road in 1985 I am not sure what year it is so I need some help working out infomation from the compliance plate please.

That's probably the maker's plate, not the compliance plate.
They are only on post '76 vehicles and should list a bunch of ADRs that it complies with as well as the date of manufacture, and will state "Compliance Plate" on it.

CK85FM19343 is the serial number,
C is for Ford of Britain affiliate company assembly,
K is for Sydney plant
85 would make it a "Long Wheelbase Chassis/Windshield"
and FM indicates it was built in March 1985

so if it was last registered in 1985, it was not on the road for very long.....
