the story so far
my step mom wasent two happy, having a big, classic half built,coverd in tarpauling shed!
along side the house
so it left my dad in a bit of a dielema
he had collected the mk1 on a trailer as a NON runner.
and happen to be at the same time,
the trailer we had borrowed was let to some one else
so with a mini service and frsh petrol,quick check over
fingers cross
first start it sounded great
it not a hot rod,but it moves (thanks to the pinto+garage find weber cab
)no problem
move to friends barn
dad happy
step mom happy
everybody happy
he since has done some minor welding around the under the cab
and that it so far
he has been flat out,so it slow and steady project(it in, so hopefuly it wont start to rust
)we have since found a bt new type box
but wil have to wait untill mid january
so that it so far
i wil take some pics soon
post them up
