Petrol tanks

Postby Chaz&Saz » Mon Jan 19, 2009 3:06 pm

Hi,

Does any one know if Landliner tanks are the same as normal mk1 petrol tanks? I will be getting one made in the new future if they're specific to the Landliner - if not i will just buy one off of the Bay

Thanks

either way chassis cab or lwb van its the same fuel tank, what comets describing sounds like someones got a lwb van lopped the back off at sill height then plonked a landliner body on top

ive found a good condition tank & sender unit at the back of the shed yesterday off a mk2 that i broke many moons ago...pm if interested...
it would have come off a lwb chassis cab though..but a bit of welding/brazing it could be adapted to fit anything...i was speaking to someone a while back who had the one of my camper/bus and apparently the filler neck sits in different position..if that helps?
