mk3 power steering box, any good?

Postby oldskooler » Wed Jan 28, 2009 7:27 am

this has probably been asked before but a couple of questions.
1. is there much modification needed to fit mk3 power steering into a mk2?

2. has it got any less turns lock to lock being power assisted and is it reliable ( worth the hassle)

my uncle has a 91 mk3 twin wheel which has been parked up for some time and is severly rotten. it will be going for scrap soon and i was thinking bout robbing the steering system before it goes. also is there owt else worth taking apart from obvious bits like the axle etc?
