We have a 15'6" body on our big luton, if we put on a bigger overhang it could tke a 17ft. It must be a lighton buzzard chassis.

I think that's a conversion job on licence from Ford, not the company that did ours, earlier extras were sent out for extending, later Mk2s were mostly done by Ford at the factory and had a ford SVO plate near the regular VIN plate. Ours is a later one, but was nothing to do with Ford, which is why she doesn't have and SVO plate. Pity there's no phone number on the plate, I rang the company that did ours and they are still in business, more than 20 years later at the same address. The chassis I told you about bortaf isn't as bad as this one!!!

I just thought there is no sign of Ford extension plates, so I think it's either a cut n shut chassis or complete chassis replacement from the company in Herts.

No extension plates, its just got a slash join with the extension bit slid over the origional chassis behind the cab and welded up.

Hmmm, maybe the Hertfordshire company is using the same priciple as Chassis services who built ours, sounds the same.
