Which fuel pump and air filter for my MK1?

Postby welshrussell » Mon Mar 02, 2009 11:02 pm

Justing posting a question about the best sort of fuel pump for my 2 litre V4 :?:

Currently I've got the glass bowl variety but heard rumours it might be vulnerable to fuel evaporation - but I do talk a lot of crap

If I were to change it, what are the pros and cons of other sorts of fuel pumps.

Also I just won this air filter box on ebay

It was listed as for a Ford V6 (Capri) but do you think it will go onto the top of my twin Weber (with a bit of modification) :?:

All suggestions gratefully received :D

Cheers

Russell.

the airfliter houseing i cant see fitting mate! you will probly need a pan from a corsiar! or use the transit one and cut the weber shape out in the bottom to fit!

I prefer the older glass topped pumps as you can see whats happening to the fuel, other than that there's nothing to chose between them.
