After buying my new wheels was wondering how many Mk1 autos were about?.Never seen any in the uk meself but did see one in Oz 2007 Guy the pieman long wheelbase high roof MK1 lovely bright yellow & lovely nick

I have got a SWB amby, but it's not very well and doesn't go into gear on it's own!

I sometimes need a little help meself Fred but like the tranny something to do with age :D This one seems ok drove well out of Bermondsey up through Highbury & up the A1 but can`t be many about :!:

mine was auto but converted to manual before i got it - when i stripped it the auto linkage was cut off but still wedged behind the heater :lol: :lol:

i think ive still got the 1-2-3-R-P-N bit that surrounds the stick somewhere :D

Did you recognise it Neil it was the one you put me on in classic car.Chased it up but was sold tried to find out who bought it but the owners had gone back to New Zealand. Then geof came on the forum asking questions & didn`t have any mechanical skills I thought he might get sick of paying out.Had to wait a few months but got meself a project.
