Wanted MK1 Steering Connecting Rod or will MK2 one fit?

Need a little help after Recovery Bent My Mk1 Steering Connecting Rod :( .

Does anyone have one going spare, we will pay?

or

Do you know if the MK2 Steering Connecting Rod will fit??

Not sure if they fit or not, but i do have a Mk2 one if you need it, however unless its completly bananared you can straigten yours easy enough, just take it off and clamp it in a big vice, or find somone (like a garage) who has a press.

takeit off, hit it straight with a big hammer and refit

we would just bend it straight, but the RAC caused the damage so they have to fix it, hence we require another rod
