LIMELIGHT MK2 race team van

Postby mk2panelvan » Wed Jun 15, 2005 9:21 am

Anyone ever remember a race car team who had a MK2 SWB Transit called limelight???
The race team built the van and it was in magazines and such like.
It had a 3000cc...fitted really low and back in the engine bay, twin exhausts, one peace rear door, full bodykit with roof spoiler,no door handles and nice sorted inside, god knows what back axel it had on but it wasn't fords or jags..... she was lime green and black.really really looked good.
Anyway a friend who had a scrapyard in Leeds had it in, my wife woudn't let me have it...grrrrrrrrr good job she's long gone! :D anyway it was sold to be restored and before that could happen the yard was taken off him and all the stock inc the van was sold for scrap......such a shame.
Anyone ever seen it or remember it?

If you have a pic with the number plate, or can get the reg, you can look it up on the DVLA website to see if it's still live.
