On the M4, then A34 going to Portsmouth way on Wednesday morning.

Is there a trannie type that's branded a "trend" cos the badge looked very fordish?

and the nr plate was very distinctive - 76 GJ (or somehting close)

a Trend is what used to be called an LX, there is also a Limited which used to be a GLX, so yes it is a genuine Ford model

Cheers, we learn every day. It was a nice (very) clean van and I would say the numebr plate was probably worth more than the van even when new, so the owner must be proud of it!
