Tis a long on going Saga with my Van mate....... :( :( Dealers basically that don't know what they're doing.... :? 8 weeks ago my Gearbox was making a strange noise on my return from Italy which turned out to be "case hardening on input shaft" i think...!!!Coconut will put me right.... :) anyway that was rectified but since then my local dealer can't stop the Gearbox leaking.......also they crossed threaded a bolt holding Gearbox to Bellhousing together... they still ain't...I had a job to Spain/Portugal and France last week and kicked off...saying that if my Van wasn't ready then they'd have to find me a Van the same size and with A/C & B/tooth,.....as I didn't see why I should suffer not having them seeing it wasn't my fault my Van wasn't sorted.......Over the last 8 weeks they've given me the above mentioned Fiat Ducato SWB.....a 10 plate Focus and the worst Van Ford have ever produced a SWB L/Roof Econetic.......  I ended up taking my Van to Europe last week with my Dealer borrowing a Gearbox the same as mine out of their Parts Van.....  Rang them Monday just gone to see when they wanted my Van back in to swap Gearboxes and they've told me they ain't sorted mine yet and once they do that they want to run it in their van for 500 miles to make sure its still not leaking...................FORD....Job not Done.........!!!!!! :? :? :? Azervanman thoroughly pi--ed off from the Westcountry....... :( :(

Well mine is out of Warranty and there's isn't.....although I've got the Ford Protect warranty it ain't quite the same as the Original....I asked why they didn't just put a new Gearbox in mine rather than fannying around like they have been but Ford want it done the most cost effective way................... :? :? :(
