white new shape transit on irish number plates

hiya, was in bp petrol station in ashford putin more air in my tyres when i realised i was parked next to an unusually clean new shape transit that was taking up 2 parking bays..i ended up having a 5 min chat with the driver about the football, he was an irish bloke on his way back to ireland from holiday, the van was a white swb new transit with irish numberplates from county cork...anyone we know???
