Pinto 34ICH Webber carb conversion

Recently 'discovered' in our stores, a 34ICH Webber single barrel manual choke carb. These were sold as a replacement for the factory fit VV used by Ford on the later Mk2 and early Mk3 Pinto engined Transits;





We initially fitted this to the Transit truck featured in the Pinto into Mk5 = LEZ Compliance thread;

Unfortunately the operation of the manual choke proved far too complicated for the owner, a scaffolder , so an auto choke VV was fitted instead!

The Webber comes with the base plate adapter, but you will need to obtain a choke cable if this is used as a replacement for the VV.
