MK3 -TRANSIT 1999 LWB HR - New owner advice please

Hi ALL,

Bought a new used workhorse - the trusty Transit

1. Looking for an owners manual so I can see the speciifcation etc, searched the web to no avail and found your site, can you help?

2. Where can I buy a nearly new roof rack, the one we have from our previous van is too small now that we have a high top.

3. Rear Doors - I am looking for a rear van photo same spec as ours to see if we have been duped. Dont think so as all the locks match the key we have. The van is very good condition apart from a little gap on the rear door. Should the doors fit exactly or should the rubber be replaced?

Welcome, King! Don't worry about being duped. I suspect from what you have said the previous owner might have been broken into, and was too tight to fit a complete lock set so just fitted one to the back door, or fitted a 2nd hand door/s after damage or rust, and didn't swap the locks from the original. Have look on ebay for a roof rack, there are quite a few about, sorry no idea of price as roof racks are not my thing.
