Is the banana engine 76ps and the old style Di 70ps?

Because I notice a very slight difference between the two, mainly when going up hills!

The 70ps and the 76ps are both the old style di, well in the 94-00 (smiley) transits anyway.

All the naturally asperated Di engines from 1992 onwards are the same, the power is controlled by the fuel pump and manifolds, get a 1995 70 ps unit, bolt off the fuel pump and manifolds and bolt on 76 ps ones and hey presto, if your crank and pistons etc are stolen out of your 76ps banana you can go and buy them for a 70ps, there the same
