Ok just realised from the stanadyne list.
So wrong injectors for a 100ps turbo van then.
Anyone got the right set for sale?

So in my hunt for injectors I've found that some are fatter at the top and have a number on and some are skinny and dont. Any one know the difference with this?

So I am now confused I've been told that turbo injectors should have metal dome top as mine do however the part number and colour spots dont relate to 100ps as it's got green spots in. Any ideas?

Those tops "RSN" type are fitted to all power output from 1997 onwards...

They were only on turbos before that

So these are the right injectors? Even though the numbers and green spot relate to 70ps?

I'm sure you cannot get the older slim injectors new anymore (unless maybe someone has old stock) and for 100ps engine you want 33408 blue, or 33710 brown, but Stanadyne were actually quite helpful when I contacted them a few years back, drop them an email and they will probably answer any questions.

Think I'll do that chuggy as every time I get an understanding of these injector types, sizes and super sessions another piece of info comes along and just confuses the life out of me

Right so in all the confusion I am going post what I've found out so far and what I have fitted and what I have spare in hope that someone can tell me what would be best to do
So firstly with regards to injectors from what I've found is that the ones fitted to my van are 70 ps rsn 2 stage green spot injectors and according to ford I sould have brown 100ps injectors
Looking all over this forum the charts and info given suggest this is right
But then Matt's info suggests that the injectors in mine could possibly be right by saying rsn types are fitted to all ps after 97 and I know matt knows what he is talking about.
Does that mean rsn types with different size spray orifice or are there just the 2rsn sizes like the charts suggest for 70ps and 76ps and because they are 2 stage they work in all
So yesterday I acquired a 100ps engine with pump, turbo, ecu and brown spot injectors
My van has dsa1096 pump fitted and the new one is dsa1191
My van was registered on 31 dec 97
So do I change the injectors alone or both injectors and pump
Also what is the difference in the pumps
I have found also that the 70ps rsn injectors have an oriface size of 0.19mm
And the brown is 0.208
Any ideas people?
And again thanks in advance.

The RSN type was fitted to all 4(well 5 really) powers post 1997... but they are different for each type of power.

DSA1096 is a pre '97 pump, DSA1191 is post '97 100PS. It makes no appreciable difference if you swap those pumps so just put the injectors in...

Excellent matt that's confirmed what I was thinking in all this confusion. I will fit injectors this week and let you know the difference with hopefully the correct injectors. Gonna replace plunger in spare pump as mine had loads of corrosion in mine so a spare will come in good.
Fingers crossed
