Postby 00353theking » Wed Aug 05, 2020 10:23 am

Hi guys ,
Just about to do a diff change on a 98 transit 6 stud 15 inch single wheel ,
Any advice on doing this ?
Change over the whole diff or what ?
Any torque settings available?
Any advice would be appreciated,
Thanks gerry

I don't know British realities, but In my opinion, the best solution - both technically and economically - would be to replace the whole rear axle. Fitting other used parts is risky, and buying new ones is only possible at a Ford station for a lot of money.

No one who has a good rear axle for sale, will sell the parts that have been removed from it ...
