Coloured dots go on the flat area below the pipe union.
Late injectors also have part numbers printed on them
Early injectors have a 5 digit number stamped in to them (you will have to remove the injector to find it)
Aftermarket injectors generally have no identification marks except the coloured dots.
If you have the flat top injectors (plastic leak off cap is held on by a spring clip) they can only be non turbo ones
