2.5td Auto gearbox issue

Postby Karlos1968 » Mon Oct 25, 2021 9:51 am

I have a 2.5 TD Auto (camper)

It has a fault causing limp mode. On hills or motorway speed it limps out and resets on the key.

The fault code is shift solenoid with possible cause control module. See screenshot.

My questions are; where is the control module and what does it look like?

Where is the wiring for the shift solenoids and are they easy to replace/repair?

Thanks

Karl

I would start by looking at the fuses and the relays in the auxillary fuse box in the engine bay...

What is this for? Underneath the passenger storage box, next to ABS? All the wires have nothing to do with it.
Also big black box about 30cm by 20cm and 5cm deep bolted to bulkhead underneath can’t get to it to get a picture or see labels.

Thanks
