How much for a full service

Postby belperjem61 » Fri Aug 11, 2023 6:24 pm

Hello everyone, my 97 plate 2.5 diesel campervan conversion needs fuel, oil, air filter change and a new alternator. I am now living with dementia and the work is beyond me.
Any ideas how much roughly a garage might charge me for the work, just so I have an idea so I can shop around for value.
Many thanks.

Its an hours work unless you include fag and tea break and if they've not worked on one before then maybe two hours, plus the price of the alternator and filters/oil, so I wouldn't want to be paying any more than £300 -£350, but I know in some places it would be double that.
