Power steering top oil seal leak

Hi Gents
Would be grateful for some advice if possible please.
My trusty Transit started leaking power steering fluid about 18 months after I fitted a recon rack. Discovered it is coming from around the top seal for the spline that connects to the steering column. As I know that mechanically the rack is ok can I just replace this seal?
If just the seal can be replaced can it be done on the van?
Does anyone know what the seal is?
Or just bite the bullet and get another recon rack?
Can only does about 2000 miles a year.
