Does anyone know where I can find a clutch for a 1996 2.0 DOHC rhd . Ford part number is 1087000.

I have a 2.0dohc and when I looked into it a diesel clutch kit will fit and will be heavier duty and cheaper. Checked it out and diameter is the same, Valeo 826069 part number and the clutch plate has the same diameter as the diesel. I think the only difference is the price and eventually maybe the torque damper springs may be heavier but doubt it, you can get a diesel clutch for next to nothing.
