Spigot bearing which one?

Postby Paulytransit » Sun Feb 02, 2025 7:50 am

I need to change the spigot bearing on my 2.5td mk5. Reading up there are 2 different bearings. Is there a way to confirm which one I have without pulling the box? I'm in Morocco so parts take a while.

There's only one for the MT75 part number 1072135 gearbox input shaft bearing,

but if you have a good bearing stockist nearby then its a 6202 2RSH

As Chug says there is only 1.

6202-2RS. C3 clearance would be ideal

What issue are you having to have the spigot bearing changed.

Common for them to seize up & damage the 1st motion shaft
