Galaxy 2.3 swap on camper transit

Hallo to all i m writing cause i read some informations and last trend, but i want to make another one cause I have to be sure for what I ll have go buy; i have a 2.0 petrol camper, i bought this one cause with gpl i can drive in the italian city, but is really too slow and without torque. I bought this one thinking of a swap, but i want to make the easiest possible. I d like to know if rs2000 engine can mount easy less,i must want to run carb for easy wiring and ecc.thi is first option. 2 is buy a complete galaxy 2.3 i found one for 600 euro take engine convert carbs and put in transit. But i d like to know if I can use engine without mods and change the inlet for weber and make the rest exhaust ecc ecc .i have to buy the swap engine,if someone help me to choose the easiest solution,parts to change and ecc will be the Max for me.

Im not sure anyone has fitted a 2.3 galaxy engine instead of a 2.0 before - so you will be working it all out yourself

Is your engine the 2L DOHC or 2L OHC Pinto?
either way you will be better off fitting the RS2000 engine it will be much simpler than fitting the 2.3

My camper is a 1989, i m pretty sure is pinto,75 ps carb engine.rs2000 car can be an easy to swap? The 16v valves?

I wouldn't bother with the rs2000 engine it's very revvy engine and will be tiring to drive . If you go to Facebook there is a couple of groups devoted to the RS2000 engine and yes you can run them on carburetors, the 2.3 engine has balancer shafts and is a lot smoother and torquey
