Fuel Pump Return Pipe Clip

Postby 2013ConnectLWB » Sun Apr 27, 2025 12:47 pm

Had "new" engine fitted.
Starts on the button and then dies.
Traced it back to no fuel, filter and supply lines are empty. Temp fill, and engine starts and runs all day long.
Leave for a day, and same again, so presuming there's an air leak somewhere.
Traced fuel lines back and on the fuel pump there is a joint with no clip - where could I get one of these from please? Cannot find a part number or anything that resembles it.

thanks.

Can't really see from your pics but most connections for fuel pipes can be done with jubilee clips

Cheers

Its the aluminum circular flange with a groove in, that the brass looking circular male part fits in, which is a 90deg fitting connected to the plastic return hose.
I think there should be some kind of semi-circular clip that holds the 90 fitting in place, clipping the two pieces together.
