Rear Bump Stops

Hi All,
Can anyone please advise on how to remove the rear bump stops, from the chassis rails.
They seem to be (obviously) a rubber cone, but are they a part of the large hexagonal flat nut.
Do the rubber stops separate from the large hexagon, to expose a bolt head, or is the stop moulded onto the large hexagon which is screwed itself into the chassis rail.
Any guidance on how to remove them, without damaging the chassis rails, would be appreciated.

From memory they unscrew from the chassis the rubber is moulding onto the hexagon backing plate try to spray wd40 into the chassis before you try to remove them

Yes they unscrew, as dumper said wd40 or similar then get a big pair of stilsons on the hexagon.

Hi All,
Many thanks for the replies.
Managed to remove them both today, nearside was quite easy (even though the rear brakes compensator made access awkward), but the offside one was a bit tighter.
Consisted of tapping back the locking tab washer, spraying WD40 around the seating area, then I knocked around the six flats of the large thin nut with a large pin-punch to help loosen, then used a Stillson wrench with an extension tube. Found that it helped to re-tighten a bit, after loosening slightly, to allow another application of WD40 to penetrate more.
Reasonably easy job, despite cold fingers at this time of the year.
All ready now to fit some low pressure air-bags at the rear, to try to reduce the body roll when cornering - I couldn't find a rear anti-roll bar (and the special chassis rail mounts) for my LWB chassis-cab anywhere !
