Postby Abdou » Fri Jun 05, 2026 11:45 pm

Somebody knows if i can delete one of the 2 exhaust mufflers on my td Mk5 camper.
Want to shorten the exhaust and bring it from the side ( see blak smoke).
Is it goona be too loud with one muffler??

My Di has 2 boxes and exits from the side.
This is what I used (years ago)

I have done that to two of them cut off the second muffler and exit infront of the back wheels. Two none turbo and one turbo none of them were too noisy, strangely one of the na moters had strange bark.
