hi luke i have done the same as you to several transits..(as well as fiestas)and i have usually used the petrol tank as they are the same.except for the sender unit.the petrol one has 1 outlet and the diesal one has 2.. 1 for the fuel outlet and 1 for the return.even though on the luton i have now i have cheated a bit by using one of the vents on the tank(there are 2 vents on the tank so am alright)as the return and the sender uniit is still working ok and i have done about 3000 miles since i did it..
