fitting power steering to my 1987 petrol transit

the steering heavyish on my van but im fitting 17"" alloys this week so im going to fit power steering if its possiable :?: can anybody tell me if they have done this and also wat van do i need to get the parts off seen diesel ones on fleabay but they seem to havea wide belt mines just i single thin belt thanks lads hope you can help :idea: :?:

after i fitted the 16" alloys to mine 205 tyres i was expecting the steering to be heavy, but after trying it its no heavier than before :shock: lighter if anything! :o

mines the steering box type tho!!

yeah im gonna fit pas to mine eventually infact both my mk1 and mk4 :D ive got a small "sports" steering wheel to fit to the mk4 later this week - that will probly be the decider to go for pas :lol:

yer luke ive already got a 13"" montey wheel fitted forgot to mension that early :oops: so any ideas about fitting power steering thanks
