Propshaft

Postby d4funky1 » Tue May 09, 2006 11:23 am

Hi,

A local breakers tell me they have a diesel propshaft available.

My transit is petrol. Would this matter for this part.

SWB Transit

Many Thanks

its what type of gearbox and model of van you have, the measurements are all different, best thing is to take your old one down and match it up

I've just been told that as long as reverse gear is under fifth (MT75 Gearbox) it will fit.

Both transits are SWB.

Does this sound about right?

Many Thanks

the props are the same - i can confirm this 100% as my diesel transit swb mk4 has a petrol prop on it :D

obviously they both need to be the same mt75 box
