Gonna keep my MK5 as long as possible.

Postby trevor3839 » Sat Nov 21, 2009 2:35 pm

Having replaced my sprinter luton with a MK7 I was saving to replace my MK5 luton. Its getting a little tatty around the edges but has served me well.
However having just replaced the brakes and a track rod end on the MK7 for it's first MOT for £560 I am gonna try & keep smiley for another 2 years+.
They are so cheap to run & parts when needed are a bargain. No computers and better built. Don't get me wrong, I love driving the MK7 but a van is supposed to run and run..cheaply..Cant see the new one still being cheap at 11 years old.
