Removing Rear Door Hinges

Hi,

Just bought a new tranny

1994 M, Low Roof, SWB, 2.5ltr Diesel.

The back door on the drivers side at the bottom hinge? has broken.

I will use the hinge on my old transit to replace but can't figure out how you remove these?

I have seen that there are two bolts attaching this to the door but how do you get to them???

Also the other side has a star shaped screw - can these screwdrivers be bought anywhere or is there something specific that i need to ask for?

The bits for undoing the bolts are called Torx bits.

You may as well get a good set of Torx bits as they are used widely on the Transits!

From the inside through an opening just below the rear light cluster mountings ..with a ratchet,small extension and a deep socket. Refitting is exactly the opposite of removal using the difference in paint colour to line up the hinges correctly.
